At what age do u let your child go to the park by themselves??

  • 12 and I would want them to be with friends. In today's world you cant leave your children alone for even a second.

  • My kids are 9 and 10 and I let them go to the park in our subdivision with a friend or with each other, not completely alone. (Although I have let my 9 year old walk there to meet her friend - it's 1/2 mile and I gave her my cell phone, plus we live in the back of a very safe neighborhood)

  • Where I stay I've seen sum kids no more than four or five walkin the streets and at the park

  • It depends on the maturity of the child, how many friends are in the group, how far the park is, etc. but I think around 10-12 would be the youngest I would even consider.
