Do you say supper or dinner??

We say supper here in Louisiana.

    my in laws say dinner for lunch and supper for the evening meal. my mil and i both confuse each other!

  • LOL the great supper and dinner debate!! When we were growing up it was called supper. When I was in the Military it was breakfast, lunch and dinner. Then, on the weekends it was brunch and supper.
    I pretty much say dinner now.

  • We say Both.....some days the kids get confused because last night we had Dinner and Tonight we are having Supper. LOL!!!!

  • It was called "suppah" in Boston (where i grew up), but I always called it "dinner"...and it seems to be "dinner" just about everywhere else in the northeast! LOL
