I had my wisdom teeth removed a week ago tommorrow, how long will it take for the holes to close up?

  • 1-2 months... it shouldn't bother you after a week or two.

  • A long time! And it annoyed me because I kept messing with them with my tongue so I always had my mouth hanging open. Not so cute.

  • I had my wisdom teeth removed 2 years ago and I don't remember it taking too long. I remember it took like 3 or 4 days for me to feel better. I was eating soups and soft foods for about a week. I couldnt drink out of a straw for like 4 weeks. So I am guessing the holes take approx 4 weeks to completely heal.

  • I just had a tooth removed recently and i think it took about a month maybe a month and a half for the hole to close completely....Although it was tender for quite sometime.

  • A while. It has to heal from the bottom up.
