  • This is why Im 26. Married. have a child & still live at my moms..
.....I know she is afraid to live by herself! And if we where to leave I could promise it would take years off her life! Even us going on short trips are hard on her.. She hints & tells me a lil' how she gets scared or whatever.. But to everyone one to look at our family you would think we are just here to live under her roof..
Shes over 60 & has never lived alone.. Parents. Marriage. My dad died while I was young & I knew then it changed my life for good because of this exact reason.. I had a chance to go to college anywhere. That was the plan.. Until she was alone.

    Life really sucks!

  • My DH works overnight and I've always enjoyed the quiet after the kids are in bed, so no, I'm not afraid of the dark or being home alone when it's dark.

  • Nope, I used to think the boogeyman lurked somewhere in the dark, until I was raped on a beautiful sunny afternoon.. bad things happen in the light of day just as often as not.
