Son starting Pre-K, what are some crafts I could do for his class??

I was thinking about little aprons with thier names on them or something I could kind of personalize for each classmate. I could bake some cookies or something but there's the whole allergy thing and who would eat what and I just wanted to try to figure something out that thy could use throughout thier school year. Any suggestions???

  • Most preschools will not let you bake thing and bring them to class. They have to be store bought and closed. In my son's class they did picture frames out of popsicle sticks, Cat n' the Hat hats, and flowers out of paper. A bunch of things.

  • Kaboose.com or FamilyFun.com both have rather sweet projects for LO's

  • I like the apron idea...with all of the messy media they get to play with, it would likely be the most practical item!! :o)

  • Ask the teacher. I'm sure there is something the teacher really wants/needs but doesn't have the time/energy to do.
