1st birthday, food

What are some good ideas for food for my sons first birthday? Im prego again and i can't even decide what im hungry for most of the time so i need some help on this one.

  • A pretty easy thing to prepare and keep in a crock pot is BBQ (sloppy joes). It seems to go over well when we have it. We usually have salad and some fruit with it too to make it a sort of complete meal for our guests.

    If you want something more for the 1 year old, we've also done a spaghetti bake- which is easy for the smaller ones to eat too.

  • I agree with the PP...we had BBQ at one daughter's bday and ham for the other daughter's bday. Just get chips, fruit, potato salad, easy stuff that doesn't require alot of clean up or work on your part. We have also had people bring a dish to share, and have the meat and drinks for them.
