When did your baby start walking?

  • My first child walked on his own at 17 months, but he walked holding onto thing much earlier. When he started walking--he ran and did not fall. He was also later diagnosised with autism.
    My second one started walking on his own at 12 1/2 months. He took a step here or there. Now at 14 months he is all over the place.

  • The first one walked at 14 months, the 2nd at almost 8 months, and the 3rd at 10 months.

  • my firt at 7 1/2 months we were so excited-but soon learned that it only meant she wa inot everything!
    my 2nd was 14 months I think...we were fine with it ;)

  • With me holding her hand, 11 months. She then refused to walk without my holding her hand (I wasn't supporting her weight or helping her balance) until 15 months. She's always been cautious about physical things.
