What kind of wraps have you ever made? Or bought?

I've made the traditional wraps with meat, lettuce, tomato, etc. I was thinking about trying to create a pizza wrap. McDonald's does the Big Mac Wrap, among others. How about you?

  • I had one that was a sample at the grocery store. It had Mircale Whip, Iltatian seasoning, spinach, swiss cheese, Turkey and red pepper, I think. It was soooooo good!!

  • My friend gave me a recipe for this awesome wrap...it's more of a deli roll, but it's still good. I don't have the recipe anymore so I can't remember all the ingredients (I know there were a couple that I didn't bother using). but basically it's cream cheese w/ chives, ham chopped into small pieces and mixed together, then you spread onto tortillas, roll, refrigerate and then slice. Seriously one of the best things ever.

  • My fav wrap, also when not on a diet, lol, is a buffalo chicken wrap, with spicy chicken and blue cheese and all the fixins. Yum. Love it. And I usually buy it, don't make it. When I am on a diet, I really like a veggie burger wrap...grill up the veggie burger, slice it in half so it fits nicely in the middle of a low fat wrap, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and some low fat horseradish sauce.

  • I love Barbeque Chicken Wraps. Basically I put BBQ Chicken, cheese, ranch dressing, lettuce, tomato, etc in a wrap and heat it just enough to melt the cheese. Yummy!

  • Can't say I've ever bought a wrap. We've made a small variety - chicken strips, lettuce, ranch - yes, like McD's crispy chicken snack wrap, I like turkey/lettuce/spinach/cucumber/ranch, my kids like ham/cheese warmed up, cheddar jalapeno tortilla wrapped around black beans/salsa/lettuce/etc...yummy.

  • I had a whole wheat wrap with chicken salad and lettuce last night. But I am not sure about eating at McDonalds...go online and find the nutrtional informtion about their wraps. They could be high-calorie and that won't be good.

  • Thought of another one, chicken (I use the canned chunky stuff) mixed with mayo (or Miracle Whip) and topped with avacado.
