  • Check YouTube. There are tons of them there... Some easy ones are grass dolls, scrying balls or mirrors, poppets, Flower or Leave pressing, pouches or bags, make your own tarot cards or runes... The list could go on and on... Just about any ritual tool can become a DIY. and some like wands and athemes are fairly easy to do with kids - and fun.

  • I'm not going through all the links right now, so I'm sorry if I list stuff that has already been covered by someone else, but here are some ideas I've come up with that I would like to do with my daughter. (Oh, and I'm the same way with hibernating in the summer lol.)

If you're into magick at all, I carved a jack-o-lantern last year and used it for home protection on Halloween/Samhain night. If you don't want your child carving yet, let them paint their pumpkin(s).

I've thought of making wreaths for fall and winter. Fall with flowers and leaves, winter with spray painted (like the silver and gold glitter) pine cones and the like. I think the leaves & flowers thing is a good way to start talking about magickal properties of them.

You could use something like fallen willow sticks to make a pentacle since they bend easily, then decorate with ribbons, paint, jewels, flowers, etc.

I'm tired, so that's all I can think of now.
