so do you need to have a husband to be a good mother?????

  • It doesn't make you a better mother....what a silly thing to suggest...but the child will be better off with a family of two parents. Financially and socially.....
    My daughter was going to adopt before she met and married her husband. But she has an MBA and her own home and her family to help her out. You do have to accomplish something and be independent and educated and make enough money to properly support a child. Its just foolish to assume that just anyone can be a single MOM. Sorry but it takes more than a uterus to have a baby and be a mother.

  • no...Having a man (DH or SO) can help you as far as having help $$ wise and support wise. It studies have shown that all children benefit from having good male and female role models in their life. If not a dad maybe an Uncle or cousin etc
