  • That is about the normal time to start.

  • 12 is the normal age for girls to start shaving their legs, if that is what you are asking.

  • I started in Jr High when we had to change for gym, so 12 sounds about right

  • If they are hairy, they should shave. Age is not really the factor; it's the need. And some people are just hairer than others.

  • no i think that's a good time... i was so mortified in middle school gym class because I was the only girl in class who didn't shave yet (mom made me wait until I started my period)

  • Nope. If she has the hair to shave, then it's time. There isn't really an age when it's okay or not... It's more of an "as needed" thing.

  • I can't remember, but I think that was close to the time I started shaving. My little niece just turned 10 and her mom just taught her how to shave.

  • No, I don't think so... it's about the time I started.

  • My oldest started shaving around 12- 13. My second is just now 12 and shaves her underarms every once in awhile, but not her legs yet because you can't even see the hair on them. I think it's more about when they need to (the hair gets darker and noticeable), rather than age.
