well, first thing is making sure they are ready to be potty trained. Just because they are 2 doesn't mean its time. This is an issue that you can guide them to but you can't force them to do. Look for readiness signs like going long periods of time with a dry diaper, letting you know when they go or willingly sitting on the potty. You will know when they "get it". Then start a routine of taking them in the morning, before nap, after lunch, ect....just several times a day. Eventually they will do it. Some kids are over 3 before its all said and done. If you wait until they are very ready, you can do this in no time. If you start too early, then you spend many months in the process.
