be careful of what you wish for???

so before i had kids i wanted to be that house where all the kids go to play. we are that house now, only it is not as great as i had hoped! it is very likely just my mood...but no little ones got naps today, i can't seem to get housework done when they are all here either!
ever had a wish come true that you thought different of later?

  • I wished for warm weather all winter. I really am regretting that wish.
When I was in the navy, I could not wait to get out because I thought it would be so much easier to be able to stay at home with the kids than deal with a hectic military lifestyle. I am eating some serious crow for that little wish.

  • How old are all the visiting kids and yours?

  • I am grateful for whatever I wish for even when it turns out bad this just means a lesson was learned and I am one step closer to what I really want.

  • hum... kill 2 birds with one stone.... have the older kids all help clean up stuff? You'll either actually get help cleaning, or you'll have a lot fewer to clean up after ;)

  • There have been one or two that haven't turned out to be exactly what I hopped they would be. But, like with everything else in life, you have to take the good with the bad. lol
