Making Hair Bows?

Okay, so I've bought a few hair bows for my daughter recently and they just don't look too hard to make. I'm a scrapbooker so I have plenty of ribbon, etc. lying around the house. Anyone have any suggestions or tips on how to get started? Can I get the little clips at Michaels or Hobby Lobby? Is there a book or video that anyone knows of?

  • You should be able to get the clips at Michael's. I would think there might be patterns put out by Simplicity, McCall's, etc under accessories in their pattern books at fabric stores. Goggle it too...........probably some free directions online. Enjoy!!

  • I make hairbows for my girls and sell them for my friends :) I just looked at pictures online of bows and seen how they done them .I make the big fancy, boutique hairbows. And it's a LOT cheap to buy the clips off eBay...I got 100 alligator clips for $4.29 and at Hobby Lobby you get 25 for 3.47.
