Anyone sell on Esty?

I'm thinking of starting a shop there, but I was wondering how bad the fees were. Do you pay per month or only when you sell or list an item? How long are items listed for? Any advice?

  • Etsy is very competative, but it is also a nice place to show off your stuff. Google wil pick it up and post it on its search engine and you will get more exposure. I have and esty account and a Artfire accoount and a zibbet account http://www.zibbet.com/CrochetFactor/sell
Post on all three site, and get even more exposure. If you sell one of your items, simply delete them from the other sites.

Esty charges twenty cent per add. The othe sites have a free service for those starting off

  • I asked this same questions a little while ago, I was looking to sell my jewelry. A lot of the responses I got were, not to post on Etsy because it is too competitive there. There is another site called Artfire, that is free for the basic or 15.95 for the pro a month. I am going to start there! Good luck! Bump :)
