  • Wood uensils of any type aren't the best for your kitchen. They are difficult to clean, can't be sanitized and can harbor bacteria, virus' and fungi. I would toss the knives and buy new.

  • I would buy new ones, I prefer the one piece, all metal ones for just this reason.

  • new ones. they are dangerous with the rotted wood because if they break apart in use, you can hurt yourself badly.

  • I just bought a nice Wolfgang Puck set of knives at Sams Club, for about $20. I would just buy new ones.

  • being that the handle is rotten it could break off at any time while in use and cut you badly not to mention the risk of tenis if you were cut. just buy a new set.
