does it ever drive anyone nuts when your 3yr old yells mom over and over and over?

My last nerve has been struck! for 2 evenings in a row (he waits till my hubby goes to work) he has yelled mom,mom,mom............. for no reason other than to get a response from me, if I don't answer he keeps going! GOD what I wouldn't do for earplugs right now LOL

  • My 2 yo does it. She does it to Daddy as well. I just start repeating her name back to her over and over and she eventually quits doing it.

  • My 4 year old does this. One day...I just yelled(playing), "Yes, yes, yes." He just looked at me like I was crazy.

  • yup. dd does it when i am engaged in other things. i tell her, just a monet, honey, and then when i get freed up, i go right to her. i used to get frustrated, but doing this has lessened it up a bit.
