Toddler potty training panties...should I buy some plastic underwear too?

My dd has been potty training. I just went out and bought her those thick potty training panties (so cute btw,lol)..and I was thinking..they arent that thick at all! Did you buy the plastic panties to go over them?

  • I used them occasionally when we were going to be out of the house for a longer period of time, but at home we didn't use them.

  • no, we just went to regular panties, and dd trained in three days. It's messy, tho, but quick and thorough. Kids don't like pee running down their legs. They are fine with it on their butts.

  • Yes, I used the plastic. He didn't like being wet.

  • I bought 'em and all it did was cause creaes in his poor lil legs, not to mention how terribley hot they are. I don't advise it. I just did an hourly "potty ck" to see if he had to go/ or was wet.

  • I bought some, but haven't used them. I put them on her once, but when she walked it was super loud. Thick undies do it for us
