Have any of you taken cooking lessons?

I did when I was 16 years old and I attended the Boston School of Cooking. It was a family tradition of 'coming out' in society. Did your family have any right of passage, other then those Faith based?

  • No, but a local college just started offering some classes in culinary arts and I would love to take a few. As far as "right of passage", when I got married, some of my grandmother's recipes were passed down to me.

  • Not a class, but I have watched videos online, especially when tackling something I have never done.

  • I started cooking when I was 3 with my parents... then, it naturally progressed to me going to Culinary School and becoming a Chef. I am now a SAHM though!
