Sleep patterns?

Hi moms/mums
i'm doing a childcare course... and theres a question that i'm having trouble answering... as my child is born yet i really dont know anymore things i can put down. so i was just wondering if you could give me more reason on 'what are some things that affect childrens sleep/rest patterns...
so far i got
nightmares
sick
energy levels
hungry
uncomfortable
pain
over stimulation- shock and fear
feeling cold and over heated....

are there anymore that i have missed?
ageing from 6 months to 6 years old.

  • Teething, growth spurts, change in environment would also contribute.

    Also new foods.

  • If you google this it will tell you that sleep paterns are interupted and change with emotional and physical milestones. IE crawling, walking , talking etc.
