I'm new and wondering...

what does 'bump' mean when people post it on a post?

  • It means the question is bumped up so more people see it and respond to it. That is what you use your "bump this question" button for and some people will also put it in a post. Hope that helps.

  • As the first girl said, it's that. But it also gives you points and the person who answered that a point. And the more points you get the higher in levels you get, which gives you more "options" asking a question "anon" or answering "anon". It's just a new system CM came up with a month or so ago.

  • For some it is a game. Otherwise as it has been explained...

  • When you bump, it brings the post back to where people can see it so they can respond to it.
