Does your vagina look the same as before you had kids?
How many do you have?
How has it changed?

I know many women don't examine it but if it has changed for the worse you would know...

  • I have had 3 vaginal births. They have all been 8+ pounds. My second was 9.9lbs. It has not changed in appearance.

  • Same. I just have 1 child and I'm 11 weeks post partum. I had a natural birth and no tearing. I totally looked every day to see how things were after I had her. Anticlimactic.

  • Definately not the same! I don't know how to describe it though, I have a partial prolapse, and it's kind of not as tight, as disturbing as that sounds, it's the best I can describe it. I've had 3 kids, and number 2 seemed to mess it up the most. I was so scared of having another vaginal birth with baby number 3, but it actually didn't get any worse.

  • I had one baby, 2 episiotomies, and I had lord how many knows, stitches and surprisingly it all looks perfect down there, same as before, my SO was so shocked by this and my OBGYN was saying how well I healed. I think most Va-Jays go back to normal though.
