  • yes I am planning on trying to breast feed. With our first son I couldnt because I have inverted nipples but I still want to try. I want the bottles and such just in case. Also the bouncy seat, swing and walker were gifts

  • I agree that you don't need most of that stuff. All I had with my 3rd child was a new car seat, a sling I made with my first child, and a few clothes. I got sick during pregnancy and couldn't shop. Then my husband left because I was sick so I had no money to shop when my baby was small. I found I didn't need baby stuff. I used castile soap and olive oil that I already had. I made some nursing pads out of flannel shirts my husband left. I made blankets out of a flannel sheet.

  • Do you have any toys? Rattles..that sort of thing? How about a mobile? My kids loved looking at their mobile go around.

  • First of all...shame on some of you ladies for such rude replies.
Second, I LOVE our diaper genie, our monitor is terrific (really gives us peace of mind when we go to bed). My husband found a great piece to have for her diaper bag which is a platic cup/bowl with 3 dividers which will hold 3 separate feedings worth of powdered formula. The lid has a spout which allows for easy dumping into a bottle pre-filled with water. Great for travel, and so practical!!
    Good luck and congratulations!!!
BTW, I have all of those "big things" and more, and I hold my child ALL THE TIME!!!
