  • Osama Bin Laden w/members of Al-Qaede.. A person whom we suppported financially and militarily for years with the Mujahideen in Afghanistan during the Afghanistan/Russia war. Because we did not want Russia being able to establish a communist nation in the ME.

How often do you hear anything about Osama or Al-Qaeda these days???

Now we are after the Taliban. Yet another group that we funded, propped up and placed into power. Then decided we didn't like them so much.. Just like the Ayatollahs in Iran, we put them in power now we want them out... Same old same old in regards to American Foriegn policy when it comes to some countries/regions in the world.

  • The age old argument that religious fanatics are history's most notorious killers doesn't hold water with me. What people choose to do, however evil, does not discount what they should do or what  their faith teaches. It's easy to blame religion rather then the fact that people are just historically awful to one another. Unfortunately, when a psychotic fanatic hides behind his faith, the entire faith gets the blame.
