  • When I was little we always went to visit the grandparents on Sunday.

At home, Sunday is the 1 day I tend to really cook. Today, I have chicken and gravy in the crockpot, and then around 6, I will add the noodles and make honey butter bisquits to go with.

  • We used to. We'd all go to my grandmother's house every Sunday and everyone would bring something. It was like Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner every week! :-) Then people stopped bringing stuff, leaving it all up to Mamaw, then more people just stopped going. Kind of miss it.

  • I agree with Maureen-MD, we always went to my grandparents' house growing up. Had a big Sunday dinner, played with cousins, played games. It was great. Miss it!

  • We only have big dinners on holidays. We have big breakfasts on the weekends.

  • Not terribly big, no - but like today we went to the ILs, had roast (and ham, which isn't normal, but the one roast wasn't enough so MIL pulled out a few slices of ham for the kiddos), mashed potatoes, green beans, apple lettuce salad, cucumber salad, and tomatoes.
