Can a Christian be a Christian and practice witchcraft?

I mean we all sin and come short of the glory. I sin everyday, but I also TRY to repent for al of my sins. The bible speaks out against witchcraft in Deut. 18:10-14, 2 Kings 21:6.

  • Yes. Who are you to question the validity of someone else's religion?

  • ok...seriously??? this question is stupid...it's not about questioning anyones religion. If someone actively practices witchcraft then NO they are not a Christian. that is common sense. gimme a break. And sinning has absolutely NOTHING to do with witchcraft. This question is just to start debates I see.

You really shouldn't answer questions you don't know the answer to.

Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

  • In short- YES
"Trinitarian Wicca is the correct name of the tradition often generalized into a practice called Christian Wicca. Trinitarian Wicca is a path of American Wicca (or Non-British Traditional Wicca) that works exclusively with the Christian Pantheon. ... There are no church trappings or conflicts with the Bible, because we work directly with the Gods and Goddesses; church dogma does not have a place in our ritual structure. Concepts such as the original sin, salvation, baptism, heaven, hell, and satan have no place in Trinitarian Wicca

  • NotPanicking....those websites are a PERSON describing what they call themself. If a person is a true Christian, then they have the love of Christ in their heart and believe in the trinity, the Father, Son, and Holy spirit....you can call youself whatever you want, but throwing out websites that some confused person invented, doesn't back up your answer one bit :)

  • SinfulBliss...same thing with your answer...this is something coming from the mouth of another man...something that was thought up. People dream up new religions everyday. That's like calling my self an "animal-loving, dog abuser"...makes no sense does it??

  • Yes, of course they can. There is a HUGE difference between sorcery and witchcraft. While Sorcery is and was, condemned biblically, Witchcraft itself never was. However, it was all considered to be one in the same though out the middle ages, when what we currently call witchcraft took on the name... However, there is nothing which condemns the practice of actual witchcraft - the problem is that many do not know there is a difference, nor do they care to learn.
