C-section scar and 2nd pregnancy

Did your c-section scar hurt when you got pregnant again? When did it begin to hurt?

  • Mine had a little tuggy almost pinching feeling to it because it was stretching and breaking up the tough scar tissue to allow it to stretch. It's not dangerous and it's totally normal so don't freak out! Many CS moms feel that. I fisrt noticed mine about 16 weeks and it did it when I would have big growth spurts and grew overnight. It stopped maybe about 32 weeks.

  • Mine did, and my doctor told me it was just that I had a lot of scar tissue in there. I'm not exactly sure when it started, but I'm thinking it was right around the time my belly started sticking out prominently.

  • I thought I would add mine was horizontal on the skin and vertical on the uterus. I was afraid it would hurt.
