Anyone have Recycled Glass countertops?

We are planning a kitchen renovation, and are seriously considering using glass and either resin (most likely) or concrete for our countertops. We currently have granite. I'm interested in quality and durability issues. Thanks~

  • I have granite, but I think the recycled glass looks really cool. I gave your question a bump.

  • We have quartz counter-tops. Never need sealing and scratch resistant. Recycled glass wasn't an option for us when we did our kitchen renovation 5 years ago.

  • I like the more subtle look that some of the glass choices provide- I also like colored accent tiles for back splash areas and I think they'd pair nicely with the glass counter-tops. All the granite just looks the same. I do not like marble, plus it's fragile in terms of spills and what not. Quartz, perhaps......

  • My ex boss has quartz and they are awesome! I LOOOOOVE them! They are durable and easy to care for, plus they come in lots of colours.

  • I think they are *gorgeous*, but sadly I have no experience with them :( Sorry we couldn't be of more help, I was curious about the answers too!
