  • My 9 mo. old is drinking about 24 oz a day. My daughter was doing the same at this age. This is when her doctor had her start cutting back though...he wanted me to slowly cut down her formula with a goal of only getting 12 oz a day at 12 mo. At nine mo. she was getting cow's milk and formula. Of course, she was in the 90% for her weight.

  • 24-32 ounces. That range doesn't change until they are 1 year, just the number of feedings required to achieve that does.

  • My DDs pedi says 32 oz is ideal but 24oz is the minimum. She said it should stay that way until 12 months when they switch to whole milk.

  • 24oz minimum I always tried to go with the maximum of 32oz though when I FF my first born just to make sure he was getting all of the right nutrition.
