  • Congratulations on reaching the awesome decision to adopt! I'm not from WV (I'm from Ohio) but we chose to adopt through the foster care system. It can be a rough road so prepare yourself and your family the best that you can. If you haven't spoken with your county's childrens service agency, that might be your first step. There are many steps to be taken before you can be approved for adoption. I wish you all the best!

  • We are in Ohio. We use a private agency to do our adoptions. They help us with homestudies, requirements, submitting inquiries, and getting our kids home. We adopt children who are waiting in foster care and are completely ready for adoption. Adoption Beauty Marked is a wonderful group here on Cafemom for support and advice. Come join us!
