  • We buy minis and try to even it out - like three pieces of chocolate, three pieces of sweet candy (gum, jawbreakers, etc.), a Halloween themed candy, a pocket toy (little puzzle, yoyo, spider ring), and some kind of interesting candy. Like last year, we put Fun Dip in the packet. I usually buy up the treat bags on clearance the year before for like a quarter each. Last year we spent between $70-$80 in candy. Some would say that is a lot, but genuinely enjoy giving out candy. We try new decoration themes each year, and put on a mini production for Trick-or-Treaters. We're just nerds like that, I guess. :-p

  • lol Anything you want or like. So whatever doesn't get given out you get to snack on. We buy assortments so they get a little of each.

  • Chocolate, small bags of chips, popcorn balls, oh my the list goes on. You always get what you like so you can eat the leftovers, lol.

  • i love tootsie rolls!! i just usually buy the huge bag of goodies with several different things included. the candy bars are too expensive! look for candies that are individually packaged, not just twist-closed...a lot of parents will throw those away, for safety.

  • give them all each a question to answer, and if they answer it they get a prize. Candy is so bad for them.

So give out a surprise, or a gift, like a small grab--bag toy....

or make pop-corn bags. little brown bags of pop--corn

    grab--bags of ??????
