If i wanted to get into making my own shirts, what do i need besides Material, needle/thread and sewing machine?

  • Patterns, pins to keep the material and patterns in place while you work, pin cushion, scissors, washer and dryer (it is always best to wash you rmaterial before using it as it may shrink), iron (to flatten out any wrinkles and if ou want to do some iron on transfers, etc). I'm sure there is more but that's all I can currently think of that you would need. :)

  • measuring tape, pins, scissors, iron and ironing board, chalk, pattern, pinking shears are nice but not a necessity.

  • Not a "need" but really cool for Tshirt ... Its called a YUDO (by provo craft)
    google it or look up some videos on Youtube... Awesome for those who want to make shirts.
    Also a Cricut would be helpful... its main use is for paper but you can use it for a large variety of things.. many people use it to make shirts or etch or do home projects with..

  • Depending on the kind of shirts, you may need buttons/fasteners, some interfacing and one of those pointy things for turning out collars.
