  • have u tried a sleep positioner? we used one after our daughter grew out of her swaddle blanket! we tucked blankets around it and under it to make it feel like a swaddle and soon she would just kick the blankets off and then she was fine! now i put her in a sleep sack at night cuz i dont want her pulling the blankets over her head! good luck~

  • Are you still dressing her warmly with the swaddling blanket? Maybe you could shed some clothes...

  • The SIDS organizations recommend against sleep positioners. You can have the baby just in a diaper and use a very light swaddle blanket.

  • try a summer or very thin sleep sac and but her in w just a onesie or just a diaper, and try to get her to sleep on her side.(she is rolling over right?) this is what we do for our just about 5 month old. we were having to go in her room 10 times a night to reswaddle her. we did this and praise the lord it has helped!!

  • Do you think she's hot or does she think she is hot? My DD loves her hot baby burrito. She can't sleep sometimes without her baby burrito. It really comforts her. Just keep counting dipes for hydration if you are really worried that she is sweaty. Chances are, she just likes a hot baby burrito. We have a woven mesh blanket that we use.

  • I would try a receiving blanket, or just try an let her fall asleep without being swalled.

  • I would turn down the AC and for sure have a fan going in her room. Not only does a fan help keep the room cooler, but it also circulates the air, both things reducing the risk of SIDS, not to mention increasing her comfort. As for swaddling, is she breaking loose or rolling yet? If so, then it's time to stop. Try a sleepsack instead, like the Halo ones.
