  • I'm not sure what that is. Is it like cash assistance? Is it a State program or a Federal one? You must have applied for it at some point right?

I help individuals who don't have medical insurance apply for Medicaid at work all the time. I know that the more members in your household the higher the income levels are. It probably is based of off the federal poverty level like the State programs around here are. Here in order to qualify your income must be no more than 185% of the federal poverty level which is $506.22 for a single individual, $610 or something for a family of two and so on.

  • Did you apply for that? Or Government assistance?

Anyway the first poster is right you can use it for whatever you want. But if you didn't have an increase in family size you need to tell them immediately.

  • its for whatever you want or need. kind of crappy i know someone who bough mcdonalds with it :| i have been on it and i am thinking about doing it again while i am in school this semester.... *sigh*

any other questions - you should be assigned a worker and you should call them. -no disrespect it just it may vary from state to state so while i say you can buy whatever you want there may be restrictions in another state. good luck though =)
