  • Yes, I do. My mother has had this recipe since the early 1950's. Make sure you have something that will measure one quart.

Start with one cup of Ketchup

Then add 2 tablespoons of each:

Texas Pete, Barbecue Sauce, mustard, chili powder, and Worchestershire Sauce

Fill with water to measure a quart, and mix. T

  • Copycat KFC Honey BBQ Sauce: this is the only one we use anymore
    1 1/4 c. ketchup
    1/3 c. white vinegar
    1/4 c. honey
    1/4 c. molasses
    1 tsp. liquid smoke flavoring
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Combine all ingredients in small saucepan over medium heat. Stor well and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
