spotting~TMI!!! adult content

Okay so I am concerned. I am just over 5 weeks pregnant. last Thursday I has a vaginal ultrasound (we seen yolk sac) then sex w/DH that night -then i had rust/brown spotting 2 days later (Sat). Doctor said this probably wasn't cause for concern. Now last night I decided on external stimulation (no penetration) and did reach orgasm. Now this morning I am having rust/brown spotting. I have another ultrasound Friday. Whats up? This is scarring me a bit! is my baby okay? Should I not do ANYTHING during my pregnancy? Why is this happening?

  • I wouldn't worry about, the same thing happens to me when me and my SO have sex and I'm 14 weeks preggo. It's just the way your body is reacting during pregnancy.

  • I would just keep an eye on things and if it gets worst call the dr right away.

  • It's typically only a concern if it's fresh (red), and/or if there's lots of it. Play it by ear, and keep in contact with your doctor about it.

  • Sex is safe while pregnant, unless your doc tells you otherwise. Early in pregnancy dark spotting is normal after sex.

  • rust colored blood is old blood, Prob. from the cervix being irritated during the ultrasound
