1 Bump

My dishwasher dyed my bottles.

I put my bottles in the dishwasher and the nipples and bottles all got dyed a red color cause apparently something with pasta sauce was in there too....any clues how I might be able to get the red off these things? I tried washing them by hand...no luck.

  • Soaking them in a bleach/water solution will get rid of the discoloration. The same thing has happened to me.

  • Yes a mild bleach solution should do it :) It wont hurt them, but I would rewash them after I did this.

  • Soak them in bleach water for about half an hour or so. Wash well with soap and water and then rinse very well with cold water.

  • I wouldn't worry about it, it's not like it's gonna hurt anything.

  • A online recommendation would be Cascade Plastic Booster and redo them using it.
