sex of baby

my doc wants to see the sex at 17 weeks pregnant. Can that be done?

  • They can see the sex of the baby as early as 14 weeks...my sister in law is a nurse at the hospital and her friend did an ultrasound on her at 14 weeks and found she was having a boy...and has been accurate all 3 times!

  • I was told by doctor around 18 to 22 weeks is when that see what the sex is.. But they are not always accurate. For me they haven't been wrong my past 2 pregnancy's.

  • sure if they can see it! we had to wait until 24 weeks my daughter always had her hands covering herself or her legs crossed! so we never got a good look until then!

  • I have an appointment next week so I can know the sex of my baby...and I will be 16 weeks!

  • My ultrasound was at 20 weeks. Standard practice for that office. We were told it is 100% accurate so long as the baby's private parts can be seen clearly and the sonographer is properly trained.
