Should the amount of caffeine in foods, drinks, and medicines be listed on product labels?

  • So you wouldn't want to know if the medicine that you're dosing your child up with at bedtime might contain caffeine? Or is everyone here a licensed Pharmacist too? Sometimes substances can be hidden in items. Did most people know that some dog foods contain plastic, before the story broke?


    Maybe you do not care, but I'll bet most parents do care about what  the medicines and foods they give their kids contain-

  • I don't see that it's really needed to be required. I'm intelligent enough to figure out that sodas, coffee, and energy drinks and even chocolate contain caffeine.

  • Why? I can see it being a convenience if someone is trying to lessen their intake but not willing to go all the way where all they need to do is buy decaf but no it should not be mandatory.
