Toddler with constantly runny nose

My 1.5 yr. old grandson seems to have pretty bad allergies with the resultant complications like ear infections, grumpy, red rimmed eyes. What allergy medications seem to work best with the least side effects?

  • Children's Claritin always works with my kids. I didn't start them on it til they were about 2 or so, so I'm not sure if he could take it that young, but I know a doctor could prescribe it in a dosage right for him if he can't take the over the counter version.
