  • Not a stupid question. I imagine most people do not know time zones well.

  • Right now it is 2:45 on the east coast and 11:45 in Arizona, which is 3 hours difference, so wouldn't the meeting be at 7 AZ time?

  • I have to use my fingers to figure these out. I know there are 4 time zones in the mainland US. So each of those has one of my fingers. Mountain is the second finger from the left, and Eastern is the farthest finger on the right. So at 10 Eastern, I put down my Eastern finger, and to find out the Mountain time, I put down the Mountain finger. Then I say 10 on the Eastern, 9 on Central, and 8 on Mountain. This seems terribly juvenile, I know, but I always had trouble figuring time zone times, and this way works for me.

  • Uhoh, I just read that Arizona doesn't use Daylight Savings time. So you'll need to figure that.

  • I am sorry. If I'd read the question correctly, the answer would have been simpler. There would be a 4 hour difference. So 10 EDT would be 7 MST. I think. 7, 8, 9, 10
