I am making hotdogs for dinner I don't like them boiled though so I was ging to fry them, but don't have any oil is there any other way to fry them?

I don't have nothing to put on the pan so they don't stick, but the only way I will eat hotdogs is fried is there any other way I can cook them other than boiled? I am making brats as well. I don't like those boiled either

  • I use nothing, the juice/fat from the hotdogs is enough for me too fry them.

  • I pan fry them with nothing too. If you have butter you can wipe the pan with butter or crisco or olive oil if you want to make sure they won't stick but usually they don't.

  • You don't need anything. I agree with the if they start to stick just add a little water to deglaze the pan.  They will be fine, there is enough fat in them to usually keep them from sticking.

  • You can BBQ them. Also just stick a little butter in the pan to fry them. Microwave them also.

  • Grilled, like on the bbq pit.
They are very good that way

  • I like to microwave mine.

You could always use butter in place of oil.

  • You can do them in the oven under the broiler too.

  • yeah, nothing on a griddle or in a pan works great. I haven't had a boiled hot dog in YEARS! lol.

  • I like to splt mine down the middle and fry em like that. I dont use oil or anything. If they seem to start to stick or burn, I throw in a little bit of water..not a lot..but I usually dont have to, I keep the heat low-medium.
