'I Only Wanted One': Selective Twin Reduction After IVF Is Just Wrong

A woman went through IUI, got pregnant with twins, and only wants one. She knew that multiples might result from her treatments and has chosen to selectively reduce her pregnancy. What do you think of selective pregnancy reduction?

  • Thats not right. Shouldn't be a mom at all then. If your lucky enough to have two be thankful. I pray everyday to be blessed with one baby and I'd be morethan happy to have twins. If its really that horribleto ave two put one up for adoption.

  • Soooo she is considering ONE of them a baby and the other a....what exactly. How do you make this ok?? How do you not think about that OTHER LIFE when you look into the baby that is born? Arent there risks to losing BOTH babies then? Wow...thats just all kinds of twisted!
