  • there are alot of different ways to potty train any child. If he has a PECS schedule? Does he use a PECS book for communication? Is he verbal? Is he aware of what is happening when he wets? Take data for 3 or 4 days. Not when he is sick or special activitues are happening. Try to track a pattern of when he wets and BMs. Schedule his bathroom routine at these times. Start with heavy prompting and fade out to PECS schedule or verbal prompts.

  • Just keep trying mama. My 11 yr old Autistic still has issues with the bathroom, but he was basically potty trained by age 6.
