  • Do some research see if they have a re-entry program for felones in your state.. If they do he needs to get in to that program they help you with expungements ,train you for jobs it's a good program ..

  • felonies are hard to overcome - my hubby has one 8 years old and it's still causing him trouble. restaurants will hire you fiance. one question - why are YOU doing this research? he should be the one to man up and figure this out. i have helped my husband but he has done alot on his own looking into stuff... many temp agencies won't work with your man. smaller businesses are more likely to hire him. look for programs that help ex-offenders get jobs - usually county/state programs. they will not do the legwork for him but they should have lists (sometimes out of date) of companies that work with people with criminal backgrounds. they will provide other assistance, but it's just really about persistence and patience more than the average person. my DH is now successfully self employed and that has been the most reliable source of income he's had in years... eBay.

  • Then he cannot have any job that involves handling money, grand theft auto would prohibit those type of jobs.

  • Small companies and startups are much less likely to ask about a criminal record

  • There is the PLUS (Purposeful Living Units Serve), program. which is a faith and character-based re-entry initiative. You can look that up and they maybe abel to direct you from that.
