When did you start having Braxton Hicks contractions?

I am around 5-6 weeks and started feeling a couple (this is my 4th pregnancy) I had them in my 2nd trimester before and I know they actually start around 6 weeks but typically I didnt think they were strong enough to feel yet. But sure enough I felt few of them (my belly button area got super tight for a few seconds.) Did you feel them early?

  • your uterus is nowhere near your belly button yet, but you are right about BH starting around 6 weeks. I could feel them around 18 weeks, nothing major, just a little tightening and a hard belly.

  • I think I started feeling them around 12 to 16 weeks with my daughter, but like it's been said, they start VERY early in pregnancy. I would say that you are feeling them because it's probably like other pregnancy things (like feeling baby move): the more you have, the sooner you feel everything. Congrats on your pregnancy!
