  • Not all babies are the same. Does he bable and coo and try to look around at his surroundings? My 9 month old just started rolling over about a week and a half ago. From there is catching up fast.

  • He could do it once in a while at 2 months but had it mastered by 3 months. I have read to talk to your pedi and have baby evaluated if they are not rolling by 6.5 months. They could be just fine, but they want to know about it. My friends pedi evaluated her at 6 months cause she couldnt roll or sit or do anything and she said if she couldnt roll or sit by 9 months she was going to start early intervention. Well, shes going to be 12 months saturday and still cant roll, but she can sit and crawl and pull up to a stand (i know its weird), so she cant wait to see what the doc has to say about her not rolling. They didnt do the intervention at 9 months cause she was sitting. I think 5 months is the average, but i wouldnt even worry yet :) Talk to your pedi and babies 6 month appointment if still not rolling.,
