  • around 10 months. But it varies GRETLY in each baby. Some never crawl, go straight to walking. Its all good either way.

  • My son started crawling at 7 months, but the "normal" range is anything from 6 to 12 months, I believe. Anything in that range is perfectly normal. Trust me, once they start crawling, life will never be the same. :)

  • My daughter crawled at 9 mo. and walked at 10. My son crawled at 7 mo., walked at 9. They're early bloomers though. It varies greatly. Babies who got a lot of tummy time tend to crawl earlier.

  • Depends on the baby, some crawl early, some late and some never crawl at all. Also crawling style can be different, some are up on all 4's (hands and knees) where others will belly crawl.

  • My oldest 3 started at about 6 months. My 9 month old just started rolling over and now sitting up and crawling all in a span of a week and a half.

  • Anywhere from seven months to a year.
Honestly, ever child does it at different times. Some children skip crawling and go straight to walking.

  • My dd started crawling on all fours at 5 and a half months. Each baby is different and lots of tummy time helps. Not crawling until closer to 10 months or so is still very normal.

  • My first started to army crawl around 7 months and he was full blown crawling (up on hands & knees) by 71/2 months.

My second never did the army crawl, she went straight to full blown crawling at 8 1/2 months.

The range of milestones with babies is WIDE. They all do things differently and at different times which doesn't make one better than the other or more 'normal' than the other. I would say you could expect your baby to crawl anywhere between 6 months and a year with the average being about 9 months. And some babies NEVER crawl, they go straight to walking and that's normal too.
