Is it safe too.

Give a baby as little as 4mths old tylenol? She had shots yesterday and she is crank today.

  • No. Medications are processed by the liver and infant's livers aren't good at doing this yet. It's better that they have a fever and are cranky than to tax their liver. Also baby Tylenol has is being or already has been pulled from the market because of safety reasons. The generic form is probably going to be pulled too. I would google it for you but the computer I am using is not letting me go from window to window. If you go to google and type in baby or infant Tylenol you can read more about it.

  • It's probably safe, but it also probably won't help much. In double-blind studies, it was found that mild pain relievers like tylenol and advil don't have much effect on babies.
