infant foot size chart? Sizing footware correctly?

anyone have a good online resource for foot sizes? I know at least for boy shoes you go by inches, but girls are a bit different right? I am crocheting some booties and want to make sure I size them correctly. If I ever make a ton of them, having a size chart would save some time.

  • I found a visible size chart at http://www.trimfootco.com/shoe-size-guide.html that includes a ruler so that you know if it's printed out at the right scale. When I printed it out on my HP printer it was just the right size and matched my own ruler measurements just right. It even has premie sizing!

  • Here is a part of my Chart Size that I have in my book Seven Magic Stitches

    Foot Size Chart for babies:

    Preemies (1-2 lbs)- Foot Length 1" - 1 3/4"
    (2-3 lbs)- Foot Length 2" - 2 1/2"
    (3-5 lbs)- Foot Length 2 1/2" - 3"
    (5-7 lbs)- Foot Length 3" - 3 1/2"
    (7-9 lbs)-Foot Length 3 1/4" - 3 3/4" (most needed size for newborns)
    OLDER KIDS FEET
For older kids and adults, feet vary so much in size, you will need to measure each persons foot to be more accurate.
    3 -6 months: Foot Length 4" - 4.5"
    6 months - 1 year : 4.25" – 4.75"
    18 months - 2 years: Foot Length 4.5" - 5.5"
    2 years - 4 years : Foot Length 5.5" - 6"
